Storms, hail, and wind to hit parts of Morocco today

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an orange-level weather alert, forecasting thunderstorms with hail and strong wind gusts this Friday in several parts of the Kingdom.

The affected provinces include Fquih Ben Salah, Béni Mellal, Azilal, Khouribga, Al Haouz, Midelt, Khénifra, Taza, and Guercif, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Rainfall is expected to range between 15 and 30 mm, with potential flash floods in lower areas. Residents are urged to stay cautious and follow weather updates.

Authorities advise avoiding riverbeds and low-lying areas during storm activity for safety reasons.
