Monday Weather: Relative Heat and Strong Winds in Several Regions

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively warm weather this Monday over the northern and central inland plains, the southeastern regions, and the interior of the southern provinces.

Dense low clouds are expected along the Atlantic coasts and eastern Mediterranean front, with local fog patches. Cumulus clouds will develop over the Middle Atlas, southern Oriental region, and eastern parts of the southern provinces, with possible scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Moderate to locally strong wind gusts are expected in the Tangier area and along the Mediterranean coast.

Minimum temperatures will range between 4°C and 10°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains, and between 15°C and 20°C in the southeast, central areas, and southern regions. Elsewhere, temperatures will vary between 10°C and 15°C.

Maximum temperatures will decrease slightly in the central plains, Mediterranean coast, and the far south, and will rise slightly elsewhere.

Seas will be slight to moderate in the Mediterranean, moderate in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slight to moderate along the Atlantic coast, becoming locally rough north of Asilah.
