Moroccan Airports Resume Normal Operations After Iberian Power Outage

Morocco’s airport services have returned to normal following a major power outage across the Iberian Peninsula that disrupted international communications and affected operations.
In a statement issued Tuesday, the National Airports Office (ONDA) confirmed that check-in services have been fully restored at all Moroccan airports. Passenger check-in and boarding procedures are now operating normally.
The disruption was attributed to the widespread blackout that occurred in Spain and Portugal on Monday, which impacted the international network connections used by some telecom providers.
ONDA thanked travelers for their patience and understanding, emphasizing that its teams remain fully mobilized to support passengers and ensure their comfort.
