Morocco Weather Forecast for Tuesday: Warm Temperatures, Thunderstorms and Strong Winds

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts relatively warm weather this Tuesday in eastern Morocco, the southeastern regions, and inland Saharan provinces.

Dense low clouds with localized fog patches are expected along the western Mediterranean coast. The sky will be occasionally cloudy with scattered light rain expected in Souss, the High Atlas, and its eastern slopes.

Unstable clouds bringing thunderstorms and showers will affect the High and Middle Atlas and parts of eastern Morocco. Dust storms are likely in the southern and southeastern regions.

Moderately to locally strong winds will sweep across the east, Atlas Mountains, southeast, southern regions, Mediterranean coastline, and Tangier area.

Minimum temperatures will range between 8°C and 12°C in the Atlas and Rif, 18°C to 23°C in the southeast and eastern Sahara, and 12°C to 18°C elsewhere. A general drop in maximum temperatures is expected.

At sea, conditions will be rough in the Mediterranean and south of Dakhla, slight to moderate between Cap Spartel and Dakhla, and locally rough to very rough north of Asilah.
