Marrakech Hosts the 3rd Edition of “Mouvement Contraire Maroc” Piano Competition

On Saturday, the red city came alive with classical harmonies during the third edition of the international piano competition “Mouvement Contraire Maroc”, held from May 1st to 3rd by the association “Cultures Without Borders”.
In a festive and friendly atmosphere, a large audience enjoyed the performances of young pianists from Morocco, Europe, and Asia, who played pieces from the romantic and contemporary musical repertoire.
The competition highlighted diverse talents united by their artistic discipline and refined musical sensitivity.
The elegant and minimalist scenography added emotional depth, revealing the passion of Beethoven, the virtuosity of Chopin, and the precision of Debussy in a captivating exchange between pianist and audience.
