Friday’s Weather Forecast: Thunderstorms Expected and Slight Temperature Drop

According to the Moroccan General Directorate of Meteorology, Friday’s forecast includes local showers with thunderstorms over the High and Middle Atlas, along with clouds from the south over the extreme southern regions.

Partly cloudy skies are expected in the central areas, Anti-Atlas, southeast, and northern Saharan provinces, with moderate to strong wind gusts over the eastern Middle Atlas and southern regions.

Minimum temperatures:

• Between 5°C and 10°C in the Atlas Mountains, Rif, and high plateaus.

• Between 10°C and 15°C in most regions.

• Up to 20°C in the far southeast and eastern Saharan areas.

Maximum temperatures:

• Slight drop in the southeast.

• Increase elsewhere in the country.

Sea conditions:

• Calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, Strait of Gibraltar, and north of Larache.

• Slightly to moderately choppy along the rest of the coast.
