Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire Sign Military Cooperation Agreement

Following Royal Directives, Abdellatif Loudiyi, Minister Delegate for National Defense Administration, received this Friday in Rabat the Ivorian Minister of State for Defense, Téné Birahima Ouattara, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
The visit resulted in the signing of a military cooperation agreement between Morocco and Côte d’Ivoire, in the presence of the Ivorian ambassador in Rabat.
The agreement focuses on enhancing military collaboration in training, military healthcare, technical assistance, and the exchange of expertise.
Loudiyi highlighted the Royal initiative to transform Africa’s Atlantic front into a hub for economic integration and shared prosperity. Minister Ouattara reaffirmed the strategic importance of the Morocco–Côte d’Ivoire partnership and praised King Mohammed VI’s commitment to South–South cooperation.
Both parties expressed their shared ambition to implement the newly signed agreement, reflecting the strong and respectful ties between the two nations.
