Morocco’s Weather Forecast for Saturday

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, Saturday’s weather will feature scattered thunderstorms over the eastern Saharan provinces, with rain showers and thunder expected in the Middle Atlas, eastern Rif, and northern Oriental regions.

Low clouds could bring light rain to Tangier, Loukkos, western Rif, and the western Mediterranean coast. Partly cloudy skies are expected over the High Atlas and southeastern areas.

Morning and nighttime fog patches are likely over the northern Atlantic plains, phosphate plateaus, and near southern coasts.

Temperatures will remain relatively warm across the central interior plains, southeastern areas, and the western and southern parts of the Saharan provinces, with strong winds and local dust storms in the southeast and eastern regions.

Minimum temperatures will range between 5°C and 11°C in the Rif and Atlas mountains, 15°C to 21°C near the coasts and southern regions, and 9°C to 15°C elsewhere.

Daytime temperatures are expected to drop significantly in the eastern Saharan provinces.

Seas will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly choppy in the Strait of Gibraltar, slightly choppy between Cap Spartel and Tan-Tan, and slightly choppy to choppy south of Tan-Tan.
