The National Company for the Construction and Management of Sports Facilities (Sonarges) swiftly responded to criticism raised by Casablanca city council member Karim El Khlaibi regarding shortcomings in the rehabilitation of Mohammed V Stadium. The concerns focused on the lack of dedicated spaces for people with disabilities and the absence of the city’s territorial branding inside the historic venue.

During last week’s city council session, El Khlaibi pointed out the failure to respect key provisions of the agreement between the municipality and Sonarges, especially regarding accessibility and the promotion of Casablanca’s identity.

In response, Sonarges adjusted its organizational arrangements during Sunday’s match between Wydad and Renaissance Zemamra, showcasing the city’s visual identity on the stadium’s digital advertising boards, in line with the signed agreement.

This move reflects the commitment to improving service quality across Casablanca’s sports facilities.
