Tuesday Weather Forecast: Thunderstorms in the north and warm weather in the south

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts rain showers or isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday in the High and Middle Atlas, eastern Rif, and northern parts of the Oriental region.
Partly cloudy skies are expected along the northern coasts, the Saïss region, phosphate plateaus, Oulmès, the rest of the Rif, the Mediterranean coast, and the northwestern Saharan provinces.
Relatively hot weather will prevail in the far south and the southeastern regions. Strong winds with dust are expected in central areas, the southeast, southern provinces, and southern parts of the Oriental region.
Minimum temperatures will range between 5°C and 11°C in the Atlas and Rif mountains, between 12°C and 18°C in the western plains of the High Atlas, the southeast, Souss region, Saharan provinces, and near the coasts, and between 7°C and 13°C elsewhere.
Daytime temperatures will slightly rise in the south of the Oriental and the southeast, and drop in other regions.
Seas will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and Strait of Gibraltar, slightly choppy between Cap Spartel and Mehdia, and slightly to moderately choppy along the rest of the coasts.
