National Security and Modernization at the Heart of Royal Address

On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces (RAF), His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff, addressed the nation’s military through an official royal order.
The King paid tribute to the founders of the RAF – the late Kings Mohammed V and Hassan II – and expressed deep pride in the sacrifices and dedication shown by all branches of the military: land, air, sea, and the Royal Gendarmerie.
He highlighted the humanitarian role played by the army in responding to disasters and praised the positive results of the national military service program, which equips youth with valuable life and professional skills.
His Majesty reaffirmed the ongoing modernization efforts, including the acquisition of advanced equipment and the development of a national defense industry, all while maintaining the central importance of the human element.
He closed with words of prayer and gratitude for the martyrs of the nation and called on the military to continue their noble mission with loyalty and discipline under the timeless motto: « God – Homeland – King. »
