Morocco U20 Set for Semi-Final Clash with Egypt

The Moroccan U20 national team is set to face Egypt on Thursday evening in the semi-finals of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.

The Atlas Cubs are looking to reach the tournament final for the first time since 1997, when they last claimed the continental title. After decades of near-misses, this match could mark their return to glory.

Morocco has reached the quarter-finals on three occasions and claimed third place in 1987 and fourth in 2005, but has not made the final in over 25 years.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7 PM local time. The match will be officiated by Togolese referee Aklesso Gnagna, assisted by Amos Ndong (Gabon) and Sbomusa Sifevo (Eswatini).
