National Police Celebrates 69 Years of Modernization and Service

On Friday, May 16, Morocco’s national police force celebrates its 69th anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to public safety and community service.

Over the years, the police have undergone significant transformations: digital services via « E-Police », expanded field presence, and the launch of mobile units to deliver ID services to remote areas, benefitting over 130,000 citizens.

Social support has also improved, and police readiness has been boosted ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Internationally, Morocco’s leadership was recognized through the election of a national representative as Interpol’s Vice President for Africa.
