Morocco Takes Part in 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad, Led by Nasser Bourita

The 34th session of the Arab League Summit officially kicked off Saturday morning at the Government Palace in Baghdad, bringing together delegations from various Arab nations, including the Kingdom of Morocco.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI is represented at the summit by Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, who is heading the Moroccan delegation.

The delegation includes:

  • Mohamed Ait Ali, Morocco’s ambassador to Cairo and permanent representative to the Arab League,

  • Abdelkarim Bensalem, chargé d’affaires at the Moroccan Embassy in Iraq,

  • Abdelali Jahid, head of the Arab and Islamic Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,

  • Hicham Ould Esslaï, Morocco’s deputy representative to the Arab League,

  • and Mohamed Nouri, advisor at the kingdom’s permanent delegation.

Morocco’s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening Arab coordination and collective action in response to the current regional and international challenges.
