RS Berkane faces Simba in CAF Confederation Cup Final First Leg

The municipal stadium of Berkane will host a thrilling showdown this Saturday evening between RS Berkane and Tanzania’s Simba SC, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.

RS Berkane aims to capitalize on home advantage and passionate support from their fans to secure a strong result ahead of the return leg, as they chase a historic third continental title.

Coach Maâloul Chaâbani will be without two key players, Haithem Manaout and Paul Valéry, due to injury, but the rest of the main squad remains available.

The Confederation of African Football has appointed Gabonese referee Pierre Atcho to officiate the match, with South African Abongile Tom in charge of VAR, assisted by Maria Rivet and Diana Chikotesha.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Moroccan time.
