The Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations (MuCEM) in Marseille launched a new exhibition titled “Amazigh: Cycles, Jewelry, and Symbols”, highlighting the diversity and richness of Moroccan Amazigh culture. The exhibit features around 150 artifacts, from the 19th century to the present, and runs until November 2, 2025.

This event is a result of collaboration with the Jardin Majorelle Foundation in Marrakech, curated by Moroccan architect and anthropologist Salima Naji and museum director Alexis Sornin. The exhibition explores Amazigh symbols, visual storytelling, and how traditions evolve.

Works by contemporary artists like Myriam Naji and Amina Agzenaï emphasize traditional craft preservation and innovation through women’s weaving collectives and visual documentation.
