Car Theft Network Dismantled in Ain Chock, Casablanca

Police officers in the Ain Chock district of Casablanca arrested six individuals aged between 22 and 50, including two repeat offenders, on Tuesday, May 20, for their alleged involvement in a criminal network specializing in car theft and resale of dismantled parts.
A search of a shop run by one of the suspects led to the seizure of a full vehicle, two car chassis with fake license plates and VIN numbers, along with 48 engines, dozens of doors, dashboards, lighting systems, and other stolen auto parts.
The suspects were placed in custody under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor, as investigations continue to identify additional accomplices and uncover the full scope of the operation.
