In its Saturday edition, Tunisian daily Assabah praised the Moroccan pavilion at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, held from May 13 to 24, calling it one of the most outstanding among Arab pavilions in terms of organization and design.

Organized by the Moroccan Cinema Center (CCM), the pavilion stood out for its vibrant representation of Moroccan cinema, showcasing talents from across generations. It also facilitated valuable one-on-one meetings between Moroccan filmmakers and international producers, fostering professional exchange and partnerships with both Arab and international funding bodies.

The paper noted strong Arab participation overall this year, with a particular mention of Morocco’s rich and dynamic presence, which included a dedicated space for promoting Moroccan films in the international film market.

This recognition underscores the success of CCM’s renewed strategy to boost Morocco’s global cinematic footprint and foster collaboration across the industry
