On Wednesday in Casablanca, Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch officially launched the national roadmap for foreign trade (2025–2027), aiming to turn this sector into a strategic driver of economic and social development.
The roadmap targets three key objectives:
-
Create 76,000 new jobs,
-
Establish 400 exporting companies annually,
-
Increase exports by 84 billion dirhams over three years.
In his speech, Akhannouch emphasized that the initiative aligns with the Royal High Directives, noting that economic openness is a strategic choice for Morocco, which strengthens its integration into the global economy and boosts the competitiveness of its productive sectors.
He also stressed that foreign trade plays a central role in attracting foreign investment and placing Morocco firmly within global value chains.
