Akhannouch Launches Morocco’s Foreign Trade Roadmap for 2025-2027

On Wednesday in Casablanca, Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch officially launched the national roadmap for foreign trade (2025–2027), aiming to turn this sector into a strategic driver of economic and social development.

The roadmap targets three key objectives:

  • Create 76,000 new jobs,

  • Establish 400 exporting companies annually,

  • Increase exports by 84 billion dirhams over three years.

In his speech, Akhannouch emphasized that the initiative aligns with the Royal High Directives, noting that economic openness is a strategic choice for Morocco, which strengthens its integration into the global economy and boosts the competitiveness of its productive sectors.

He also stressed that foreign trade plays a central role in attracting foreign investment and placing Morocco firmly within global value chains.
