Thursday Weather: Warm Conditions, Coastal Fog, and Dusty Winds in the South

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, Thursday’s weather will be relatively warm in areas like the Tadla plains, the southeast, and the extreme south of the Saharan provinces.

Partly cloudy skies are expected over the High and Middle Atlas, the southeast, and the southern Oriental region. Low clouds and morning fog are forecasted over the northern Atlantic plains, the Phosphate Plateau, Oulmes, and northern southern provinces.

Coastal fog may appear between Sidi Ifni and Laayoune, especially in the early morning.

Moderate to strong winds carrying dust are likely in the southeast and southern provinces, with gusts also affecting the southern Oriental, southeastern slopes, central Atlantic plains, and Saharan areas.

Temperatures will rise slightly during the day in the northern regions.

The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait, and slightly choppy to rough, even very rough locally between Cap Sim and Tarfaya during the morning and night.
