Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Lower This Friday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started trading down this Friday, with its main index, MASI, falling by 1.3% to 18,293.17 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of the top 20 listed companies, dropped by 1.82% to 1,490.51 points, while the MASI.ESG index (for companies with the best ESG ratings) declined 1.8% to 1,251.2 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index also dropped by 1.93%, settling at 1,773.2 points.

Conversely, Société des Boissons du Maroc was the only stock to record gains.
The MASI had already closed 0.65% lower on Thursday.
