France Football reveals date for 2025 Ballon d’Or nominees announcement

France Football magazine announced this Thursday the official date for revealing the list of nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.

According to its official account, the list of candidates for both men’s and women’s categories will be unveiled on August 7.

The list is expected to feature some of the world’s biggest football stars, including Achraf Hakimi, Mohamed Salah, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Ousmane Dembélé, and Kylian Mbappé.

It’s worth noting that the 2024 Ballon d’Or was awarded to Rodri, the Spanish midfielder from Manchester City, following a stellar season with both his club and national team.
