Friday Weather Forecast: Relatively hot weather and local instability

According to the General Directorate of Meteorology, Friday’s weather will be relatively hot across the southern Oriental region, the southeast, and the south and east of the Saharan provinces.

Unstable clouds are expected to bring scattered light rain and localized thunderstorms in the eastern region. Dense low clouds will also form in the morning and at night over the northern Saharan provinces and the northern and central coasts, accompanied by localized fog or very light rain.

Moderately strong wind gusts with blowing dust are forecast in the Oriental, southeast, central Atlantic plains, and southern provinces.

Minimum temperatures:

  • 22–26°C in the extreme south, southeast, Moulouya valleys, and southern Oriental

  • 09–12°C in the Rif and Atlas regions

  • 13–18°C elsewhere

Daytime temperatures will see slight variation compared to Thursday.

Sea conditions: Calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and Strait of Gibraltar; slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast, becoming locally rough to very rough between Cap Sim and Sidi Ifni.
