Morocco Weather: Heatwave Continues with Localized Storms Expected Saturday

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts a continuation of the heatwave this Saturday across various regions of Morocco, including the southern Rif, Saïs, Moulouya Valley, Phosphate and Oulmès plateaus, as well as Tadla, Rhamna plains, the southeast, and interior Saharan provinces.
Storm clouds, with potential for localized rainfall or hail, and gusty winds under thunderstorms, are expected over the High and Middle Atlas mountains and their eastern slopes, the Rif, and the phosphate plateaus.
Low clouds and localized fog will form during the morning and evening over:

Western Mediterranean coast

Western parts of the southern provinces
Moderate to strong wind gusts, with potential dust storms, are expected over the Atlas, Saïs, southeast, central coasts, and southern provinces.
