Morocco Leads EU Small Citrus Imports in 2024/2025 Season

Morocco has emerged as the leading supplier of small citrus fruits (such as clementines, mandarins, and satsumas) to the European Union during the first seven months of the 2024/2025 agricultural season, with exports exceeding 134,000 tons, according to a new report by the European Commission.

Between October 2024 and April 2025, Morocco exported 134,455 tons, up from 105,571 tons the previous season. Turkey followed with 63,196 tons, Israel with 44,387 tons, and South Africa with 34,558 tons.
