Casablanca Music Week Wraps Up with En Vogue and DJ Abdel in Electrifying Finale

The inaugural edition of Casablanca Music Week ended on a high note Sunday night, with a powerful concert by the legendary girl group En Vogue, followed by an electrifying set from DJ Abdel and Big Ali.

The all-female ensemble wowed the crowd at « La Casablancais » with iconic hits like My Lovin’, Give It Up, and Whatta Man. Their signature harmonies and flawless choreography captivated thousands.

Speaking to the press, the group expressed their joy at performing in Morocco for the first time, praising the crowd’s warmth and expressing openness to return and collaborate with African artists.

DJ Abdel and Big Ali kept the energy alive, blending nostalgic 2000s hits in a party atmosphere that thrilled the audience.

Festival founder Hakeem Chokrani announced that the event drew around 50,000 attendees across six nights, with a second edition scheduled for 2026, dates to be revealed in September.

The festival also featured workshops, immersive art, and cultural events, reinforcing Casablanca’s rise as a new hub in the creative industries.
