YouTube Adds Auto-Rotate Feature to Shorts for Enhanced Viewing

YouTube has introduced a new feature for its short-form video format « Shorts », allowing users to automatically rotate videos to landscape mode, offering a more flexible and inclusive viewing experience.

The new feature is located under Accessibility settings with the label “Rotate YouTube Shorts videos”, and when enabled, it rotates the video automatically without manual device adjustment.

It is especially helpful for:
