Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Lower on Tuesday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened trading this Tuesday in the red, with its main index MASI declining by 0.12% to settle at 18,786.37 points.
The MASI.20, which reflects the performance of the top 20 listed companies, dropped by 0.10% to 1,545.15 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with top sustainability ratings, edged down 0.02% to 1,309.49 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index recorded the sharpest drop, losing 0.78% to stand at 1,785.16 points.
This decline follows a 0.86% gain recorded by the MASI at the close of trading on Monday.
