FIFA Rankings: Morocco Holds Firm at 12th Worldwide

Morocco’s national team continues to impress on the global football stage, maintaining its 12th position in FIFA’s latest world rankings, released Thursday morning. The Atlas Lions added nearly five more points, reaching a total of 1699.

Regionally, Morocco remains Africa’s and the Arab world’s top-ranked team, ahead of Senegal (18th), Egypt (34th), and Algeria (36th).

This steady progression reflects the strong work of coach Walid Regragui and his staff, along with the players’ consistent performances in World Cup 2026 qualifiers and friendlies against Benin and Tunisia.

The team now aims to break into the global top 10.
