Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Tuesday with Losses

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started Tuesday’s trading session in the red. The main index MASI dropped by 0.29% to settle at 18,865.45 points.

The MASI.20 index, tracking 20 major listed companies, fell by 0.34% to 1,550.86 points. The MASI.ESG index, reflecting top ESG-rated companies, also declined by 0.49% to 1,304.45 points.

Conversely, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index gained 0.23% to reach 1,797.6 points.

Top decliners included IB Maroc.com (-9.33%), Eqdom (-8.43%), and Salafin (-7.48%). Meanwhile, Jet Contractors led the gainers with +4.37%, followed by Sotema and Delta Holding.
