Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens Higher on Tuesday

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened Tuesday’s session on a positive note, with its benchmark MASI index rising 0.14% to 19,871.17 points.
The MASI.20 index, tracking the performance of the 20 largest listed companies, increased by 0.09% to 1,628.69 points, while the MASI.ESG index, which includes top ESG-rated companies, advanced 0.29% to 1,362.15 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, covering small and mid-sized listed companies, grew 0.17% to 1,903.79 points.
Top gainers included Colorado (+9.29% at MAD 82), IB Maroc.com (+3.15% at MAD 81.49), Jet Contractors (+2.4% at MAD 2,395), Afriquia Gaz (+1.89% at MAD 4,364), and CMGP Group (+1.22% at MAD 415).
On the downside, the biggest losers were Cartier Saada (-4.21% at MAD 41), Société Maghrébine de Monétique (-3.07% at MAD 625.2), Microdata (-2.45% at MAD 946), Disway Technologies (-2.27% at MAD 342), and Sothema (-1.82% at MAD 918).
On Monday, the MASI had closed with a 0.12% gain.
