The “Moroccan Journalists for Palestine” group has strongly condemned the killing of several journalists in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation army, calling on the Moroccan government to sever ties with Israel and urging the public to join a protest this evening at United Nations Square in Casablanca.

The attack targeted a press tent near Al-Shifa Hospital, killing Al Jazeera correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Mohamed Qreiqa, journalist Mohamed Al-Khaldi, and photographers Ibrahim Zaher, Ayman Aloueh, and Mohamed Noufel.

The group described the incident as an attempt to “silence the voice of truth” and expressed pride in the fallen journalists, who they said were Gaza’s window to the world. They also called for holding the occupier accountable, boycotting Zionist media, and refusing to host its officials or academics on Moroccan and international media platforms.
