HM the King Congratulates Angolan President on Independence Day
His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Angola, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his country’s independence.
In this message, HM the King extends His warm congratulations to President Lourenço, while sharing feelings of pride and joy on this glorious occasion with him and the Angolan people.
The Sovereign also reaffirms the Kingdom’s determination to further consolidate the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, in the common interest of both peoples and in the service of strengthening unity and development on the African continent.
Reiterating His congratulations, HM the King expresses His wishes for prosperity and progress for the Angolan people.
