Casablanca Stock Exchange Opens the Week with Slight Decline
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began Monday’s trading session on a downward trend, as its main index, the MASI, dropped by 0,24%, closing at 18,558.62 points.
The MASI.20 index, reflecting the performance of the top 20 listed companies, declined by 0.41% to 1,510.59 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, grouping companies with the best ESG ratings, gained 0.45% to reach 1,264.2 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks small and mid-sized companies, posted a slight decline of 0.05% to 1,796.83 points.
Regarding individual performances, the biggest losers included:
