Shock defeat for Real Madrid

Real Madrid suffered a shocking and painful home defeat, falling 2-0 to Celta Vigo in a tense and pressure-filled match during LaLiga’s 15th round.
Madrid started the match confidently, but quickly ran into a well-organized Celta defense that shut down all spaces and dictated the tempo. The visitors struck first in the 53rd minute through Svedberg, who capitalized on a defensive mix-up to score.
The situation worsened for the hosts when Ferran García was sent off in the 64th minute after receiving a second yellow card, giving Celta a numerical advantage they used wisely.
As Madrid retreated in an effort to avoid conceding again, Svedberg returned in stoppage time (+90’3) to score a decisive second goal, sealing a disastrous night for the home side.
This loss leaves Real Madrid in second place with 36 points, now four points behind leaders Barcelona (40 points), while Celta Vigo climbs to tenth with 19 points, earning a precious and unexpected victory at the Bernabéu.
