The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened lower on Friday, with its main index, the MASI, declining by 0.05% to 13,791.41 points.
Shortly after the opening, the MASI.20 index, which tracks the 20 most liquid stocks, gained 0.02% to reach 1,120.37 points, while the MASI.ESG index, comprising companies with the best ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, dipped by 0.05% to 1,002.98 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index that measures the performance of small and medium-sized companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, dropped by 0.13% to 1,237.05 points.
The previous day, the MASI had closed with a gain of 0.12%.
