Football Championship Draw 2024-2025: Key Derby Dates Revealed

The draw for the professional football championship for the 2024-2025 season took place this Friday at the Mohammed VI Complex in Maâmora.

It was revealed that the « derby » between Raja and Wydad Casablanca will take place on the 11th and 26th matchdays. Raja will host the first match, while Wydad will host the return match.

The Clásico between Raja and AS FAR will be played on the 7th matchday, with the return match hosted by AS FAR on the 22nd matchday. In the other Clásico, AS FAR will face Wydad at home on the 13th matchday, with the return match taking place in Casablanca on the 28th matchday.

The Rabat derby between AS FAR and FUS will occur on the 6th matchday, with the return match on the 21st matchday.

The National Professional Football League had already announced the start dates for local competitions for the 2024-2025 season, stating that the professional championship season, for both divisions, will begin on Friday, August 30, 2023.
