Sofyan Amrabat has once again been offered to Atlético Madrid. The Moroccan international, who has returned to Fiorentina after a loan spell at Manchester United, is looking to leave the Serie A club.
According to Foot Mercato, Diego Simeone admires the Moroccan midfielder, but financial negotiations with Fiorentina remain challenging. The door is still open, but no agreement has been reached yet.
Amrabat moved to Old Trafford after a successful 2022-23 campaign with Fiorentina and an outstanding performance with Morocco at the 2022 World Cup, where the team reached the semi-finals.
Amrabat completed his loan spell at Manchester United impressively, delivering strong performances in his final matches despite a difficult period marked by adaptation issues and reservations from the technical staff led by Ten Hag. He appeared in 30 matches across all competitions, starting in 17 of them.
The Atlas Lion particularly stood out during the FA Cup final, which Manchester United won against Manchester City (2-1), a performance that, in the eyes of fans, should secure him a permanent place in the team.
