His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of the late journalist Jamal Berraoui.
In this message, the Sovereign states that He learned with deep sorrow of the news of the death of prominent journalist Jamal Berraoui, may God surround him with His holy mercy.
On this sad occasion, HM the King expresses to the members of the deceased’s family, to his relatives, his national media family and all his friends, His deep condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following the death of a competent journalist and political and economic analyst with a distinguished media career.
« The late journalist was renowned for his generosity and his constant attachment to the principles of professional ethics, which he embodied, boldly and objectively, in the defense in a high spirit of sincere patriotism of the best interests of the country and the sacred values of the nation », the Sovereign writes.
Sharing the feelings of the members of the deceased’s family in this painful ordeal, HM the King implores the Most High to grant them patience and comfort, to amply reward the deceased for his good works in the service of his country and to welcome him among the Virtuous.
