The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed in positive territory on Thursday, with its benchmark index, the MASI, gaining 0.19% to reach 13,935.08 points.
The MASI.20, an index that tracks the 20 most liquid stocks, advanced by 0.09% to 1,129.87 points, while the MASI.ESG, which monitors companies with the best ESG ratings as published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, remained steady at 1,014.94 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap, a thematic index that measures the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, increased by 1.91% to 1,286.93 points.
On the international front, the FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid indices rose by 0.29% to 13,162.15 points and 0.28% to 11,718.09 points, respectively.
