Sabiri responded to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claimed that advanced discussions were taking place between Fiorentina and an Egyptian club for the midfielder’s transfer. On his X account, the Atlas Lion addressed the author of this rumor, saying sarcastically: « Fortunately, you know more than I do. »
Sabiri has returned to Fiorentina after a season-long loan at the Saudi club Al-Fayha. Although the loan contract included a purchase option, the Saudi club did not activate it.
