The General Directorate of Meteorology announced today, Friday, that strong thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and gusts of wind, are expected today in several provinces of the Kingdom.
In a red-level warning, the directorate explained that strong thunderstorms, with rainfall ranging between 50 and 80 mm, will affect the provinces of Smara, Assa-Zag, Tata, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Tinghir, and Errachidia, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Additionally, an orange-level warning indicates that the provinces of Taroudant, Azilal, Midelt, and Figuig will experience thunderstorms with rainfall ranging between 20 and 50 mm, accompanied by hail and wind gusts, also from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
