Moroccan cybersecurity expert and YouTuber, Amine Raghib, has warned his followers about the risks of falling victim to scams associated with « TikTok Shop. »
In a story on his official Instagram account on Wednesday, Raghib mentioned that three people had been scammed through this app.
He stated that the most recent victim lost 80,000 dirhams, the second lost 100,000 dirhams, and the first victim suffered a loss of 160,000 dirhams.
Raghib firmly warned: « There is no such thing as TikTok Shop. Anyone dealing with TikTok Shop is being scammed, and they’re taking your money… »
He further explained: « There is no tax involved, and your money is already gone. Most sites operating with USDD are scams. »
