The Royal Navy’s coast guards intercepted a boat yesterday, Sunday, 83 kilometers northwest of Tan-Tan port. Onboard were 54 irregular migrants from Sub-Saharan Africa, including seven women and one minor. According to a statement by the Royal Armed Forces, the migrants, who were aiming to reach the Canary Islands, were safely transferred to Tan-Tan port. They were handed over to the Royal Gendarmerie for administrative procedures after receiving first aid.
