The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened Tuesday’s trading with a positive performance. The main index, MASI, rose by 0.95%, reaching 14,405.74 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, increased by 1.12% to 1,168.19 points. Similarly, the MASI.ESG index, tracking companies with the best ESG ratings, gained 1.11%, reaching 1,035.46 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, measuring small and medium-sized companies, rose by 0.34% to 1,349.29 points.
The strongest gains were seen in Maroc Telecom (+3.13% at 96.99 MAD), Attijariwafa Bank (+2.75% at 564.8 MAD), Sonasid (+2.41% at 850 MAD), and Amarent Invest (+2.08% at 92.89 MAD).
On the downside, the biggest declines were posted by Stroc Industrie (-7.07% at 46 MAD), Risma (-1.33% at 223 MAD), Société Maghrébine de Monétique (-1.26% at 235 MAD), Managem (-1.26% at 235 MAD), and Mutandis (-0.32% at 312 MAD).
Yesterday, the MASI index closed with a small gain of 0.16%.
