The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading this Friday with a slight decline. The main index, MASI, dropped by 0.02%, settling at 14,367.17 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, remained steady at 1,161.37 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with the highest ESG ratings, decreased by 0.12% to 1,032.55 points.
On the other hand, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized companies, rose by 0.36% to 1,356.72 points.
Yesterday, the MASI index had closed with a 0.62% increase.
