The Casablanca Stock Exchange concluded trading for the week of September 23 to 27 with gains. Its main index, MASI, rose by 1.42%, closing at 14,449.05 points.
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 listed companies, climbed 1.28% to 1,169.32 points, while the MASI.ESG index, representing companies with the best ESG ratings, increased by 1.57% to 1,037.75 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which measures the performance of small and medium-sized companies, also rose by 1.58% to 1,361.89 points.
Trading volumes exceeded 1.66 billion dirhams, with Attijariwafa Bank leading with 19.87% of the total, followed by Acdicall (10.49%) and Banque Centrale Populaire (10.40%). The market capitalization surpassed 745.31 billion dirhams.
Among the top gainers of the week were « Stroc Industrie » (+25.33% to 61.4 dirhams), « Acdicall » (+10.45% to 1,110 dirhams), and « TotalEnergies Marketing » (+10% to 1,650 dirhams). On the downside, « Zellidja » (-11.60% to 157.35 dirhams) and « Société des Boissons du Maroc » (-10.06% to 2,334 dirhams) recorded the largest losses.
