The General Directorate of Meteorology expects relatively warm to locally hot weather in the inland plains, southeast, and extreme south of the country today, Monday.
Thunderstorms accompanied by hail will affect the High and Middle Atlas, as well as the eastern region, with a chance of extending to the eastern Rif. The sky will be partly cloudy to mostly clear over the western Atlas regions, phosphate plateaus, the Saïss area, the southeast, and the extreme south.
Light rainfall is expected locally along the western Mediterranean coast, and fog formations are anticipated in the morning and night on the Atlantic plains, eastern Mediterranean coast, and northwestern Saharan provinces. Additionally, dust clouds may spread in the southern eastern region, southeast, and western Saharan provinces.
Moderate to somewhat strong gusts of wind are expected over Tangier, the Atlas mountains, and the eastern region.
Minimum temperatures will range between 20 and 25°C in the extreme southeast and southern regions, and between 15 and 20°C in the rest of the country.
During the day, a slight drop in temperature is expected in the southern eastern region and southeast, while other areas will see a rise.
The sea will be calm to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, the Strait, and along the Atlantic coast.
