The political bureau of the Party of Progress and Socialism has expressed its strong condemnation of the massacres carried out by the Zionist regime in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as the assassination of key political leaders within the resistance.
In a statement, the party highlighted Israel’s persistent efforts to expand its aggression to Lebanon, which threatens to drag the region into a full-scale war with an uncertain outcome, posing a real threat to global peace.
The party also reiterated its condemnation of the series of assassinations targeting prominent political figures in the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, including Hassan Nasrallah and Ismail Haniyeh. It affirmed that resistance is an idea and a practice deeply rooted in any people seeking liberation from colonialism, regardless of differing political ideologies.
In this context, the party reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and its strong solidarity with the Lebanese people, calling on civil, democratic, and progressive forces to unite in confronting Israeli aggression.
The statement concluded by urging party members, led by Nabil Benabdellah, to participate in large numbers in the national march scheduled for Sunday, October 6th in Rabat, in support of the Palestinian resistance and in solidarity with Lebanon in its new ordeal.
