The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced that the coach of the national beach soccer team, Gilberto Da Costa De Souza, has scheduled two friendly matches against the Mauritanian team on October 9th and 10th at the Mohammed VI Football Complex. These matches are part of the preparations for the sixth edition of the Africa Cup, Egypt 2024.
The draw for this competition, which will take place in Hurghada, Egypt, from October 19th to 26th, placed the Moroccan team in Group A alongside Egypt, Tanzania, and Ghana. Group B includes Senegal, Mozambique, and Mauritania.
It is worth noting that this continental tournament serves as a qualifier for the Beach Soccer World Cup, which will be held in Seychelles in 2025.
